Wish Macklin well and hope he does not take too much punishment.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Macklin is too easy to hit cleanly and Golovkin hits way too hard. Could be a tear up for a while but you'd have to fancy Golovkin by KO.

I'm sure everyone and their dog are betting the farm on Matthew standing right there in the pocket and taking a pounding. Pretty good chance Macklin also knows this.
WAR CHANGE-UPS!!
WAR MACKLIN!!
Looking forward to seeing Oosthuizen. Seen him a few times but dont really rate him. He is very high in the rankings though. Hes a big lad so wouldnt see him having a problem moving up in weight.

Well i think its fair to say this is Golovkin's toughest fight to date. I have said previously that i wont jump on the GGG bandwagon until after the result of the Macklin fight. From watching both fighters previous fights i think Macklin proved to us all that he is a top MW fighter after the Martinez fight (alot of people even thought that Macklin won that fight in Sergio's home country and being Argentina vs England).
If GGG was to be exposed, i think Matthew Macklin is the man to do it.
I am still going with Gennady to pick Matthew apart though.
Looking forwards to watching this![]()

Apollo Creed did better then

Oosestationary got him to walk into his stuff that one, 5-1 Gonzalez. He needs a warning for that chicken wing though, blatant
