I've never been dissapointed in a Miller fight. "Showtime" always puts on a decent enough show too. Brandon Mictchem got his ass beat by Kevin Sonley last time but was gifted a descision. He is entertaining enough though.

    Anyway...Ill be there!

You're the one that did the article for Saddoboxing about the last Miller fight in May in the Washington Ave Armory. You had Miller earning a KO in round 3 when the fight only went 2 rounds? What was with that?

You start out at 6am do 2 press confrences a telephone interview drive two hours for a work out session drive two hours back,,interviews in the locker room,, cover another card in california by sat hook up,,do a post fight,,interview,,post fight party to get interviews with other fighters and promoters attending,, drive an hour home,,start writing stories at 3am for a web site and two newspapers about two different cards and the interviews you did that day so ones ready to go up on the site and the other two are sent to your editors before the deadline the next afternoon and make sure you get some sleep to get up at 7 to drive to NYC and meet with Gerry Coony and F.I.S.T. Execs about the employment of ex fighters program and see if you don't make an honest mistake....This is why I have copy editors....It happens...I am sure you know that you oh wait im sorry your not a reporter and have no idea what a deadline travel and all the other S$%# that goes a long with it...My fault...
Tell ya what if you can do better please do...I would be the first one to admit your the better man.........So dont give me the Whats up with that...
Truth is the whole damn card was garbage like any other pugnacious card but I do it as a favor because they are hometown people and I have worked with or against Bob Miller,Willingham, Paul Brown and the rest of them in Amatuer cards and pro cards for years...
I can sit ringside at just about any show I want to you think I want to watch Miller/West when I can just as easily say the hell with this and go to a PPV event Please

Sorry about the tangent guys I just can't stand when someone is going to make comments about something that they have no idea what goes into it or how hard it is yet are the first to criticize...

Holy shit man, you're easy to set off. Sorry you had such a busy day, but I think if you are going to write an article you should at least have the rounds of the main event correct. I wasn't like a type-o where you said round 3 instead of 2, you actually had a description of rounds 1 and 2, and the KO in round 3. Just thought it was kind of strange, like whomever wrote it, wasn't even there. Where was your "copy editor" on that one? Do you like reading articles of fights that are factually incorrect?

Don't take it so personly, Daxx.

LMAO...Im not taking it personal really...I just happened to read it after arguing with my boss about going to an event I don't want to...Like I said it was late as hell I was sitting in front of my comp in the dark trying not to wake up my wife and I was exausted to the point coffee was like water...Truth is until you said it on the board I never even realized it...and I read it......So No hard feelings?
You said you were at the show? did you go to last nights?...What BS was that Torres Adorno fight? A draw..Neither were any good but adorno has no business in a ring...That Billy Costello has no right to be allowed to judge a fight.....
I did see you agreed with the article when it came to the Sonley/ Mitchem fight....I felt bad later on I saw Keith at the concession stand with his daughter she must have bee 1 !/2 at the most buying her ice cream he had his wife with him the guy looked happy just to be there...I told him I though he won and was going to print it...He got a big grin on his face...You from around the Capital dist area?

Well, I didn't get as worked up over the Torres Adorno fight as you, I actually thought a draw wasn't that horrible. The guy did have no boxing skill but he did land some bombs that hurt with his windmill, kindergarten recess style. The fight was a joke, but fun to watch.

What really pissed me off was the stoppage of the Miller fight!! Could you believe that bullshit? Called knocked out while walking to his corner at 3:08 of the round. The worst part is that loss is really going to set Shannon back. It was a travesty; that Ricky Gonzales is a poor ref in my book after that display.

That Mitchem/Sonely fight last time was major bullshit! The guy scored two knockdowns that were rulled as slips! I think that was ol Ricky as well. I have met Keith as well and actually went to college with his wife's brother and his wife.

I did think that Brandon put on a good show this time around, and look forward to seeing him in action again.

I am not orginally from the Capital District but have lived here since 1995. What about you? You ever box? I live in Troy and was thinking about taking it up, but with Bob Miller's Uncle Sam gym closed, is Sweeney's in Delmar the best/closest one?

Oh yeah, no hard feelings Daxx.

Actually, I read all of your articles that are posted on Pugnatious Promotions website and liked all of them.

I take it you know Lisa well? How old is she BTW; if I had to guess I would say 35.

The miller fight was questionable??...I am not really sure what Shannon said to the ref....IMO it was going to end in KO anyway with Shannon on his back....
In troy I think the best guy to deal with for Boxing is probably Sam Bunch...Decent guy he trains Willingham..And Corey and Curtis Jones who as pro's both have nothing to offer but as amatuers both were good he also Trains Kimdo Bethel one of the top HW amatuers in the country...
I boxed as an amatuer some had a decent amount of fights won a few big tourneys and a national nothing special that was long ago...Before kids..If you dont mind a 15 20 min drive the best guy I suggest as a trainer is Vince Kittle in Schenectady..He is my old Partner we had a good run in the amatuer division...With a slew of national champs and gold medal winners...When Metroplex bought out our location and moved I just became a trainer instead of partner in Gym....I took time off to work w Phillips and his run at another belt

I dont know her that well other than on a business level she was looking at a few of my amatuers...I say she is closer to 40 or better..She is an ex family court Judge...My ex girlfriend Laurie worked for her as a law attorney and Laurie is 44 so lisa is close...Nice lady but PP needs some new talent soon because they cant keep throwing shows with the caliber of guys they have and think they will flourish for long...I wish them luck and they are nice people but they need someone in there to handle the business side of making fights and negotiating more
