The is GGG the real deal thread the garbage he was spitting is why GGG will get the Manny style backlash but he doesn't even have the ATG career to back it up.
And we saw what happened after Broner's unsatisfactory performance against Paulie Malignaggi. Talk about overrated. I think he literally is the definition of it.

There was a very great article on Bad Left Hook looking at the hype comparison between Broner, Canelo and GGG, if you think about it though the Canelo, Broner, Wilder, Figueroa, Russell, Thurman hype is network and promoter the GGG hype is from fans who should know better than to crown someone so fast.

It doesn't matter where the hype comes from, my friend. Here's the thing thing. On his biggest stage, Broner looked mediocre against a guy, who in his prime was stopped by Amir Khan and Ricky Hatton. If Broner doesn't do his job when the guy is passed his prime, I'm not really sure how you don't define that as overrated. I don't really know what else there is to say.

At least, GGG has done what he is supposed to do. Take into account that Broner was a 15-1 favorite against Paulie Malignaggi, and the fight was more or less evenly matched, with Broner pulling it out in the second half of the fight. That's as ridiculous of a hype job as there has been in a while.

Canelo is different in my opinion. But, tell me why does Canelo deserve the Floyd fight? He has one really good win over Trout, if we're honest. Right?

Yeah Kellerman said Crawford is the best Lightweight in the world, the idea of that is laughable, Bob says Manny is the best he ever saw and he has Ali, promoters and networks hold no value in boxing talk, fans are suppose to know better.

Canelo hasn't done anything to deserve Floyd but he is a draw or so we assume, GGG got 350,000 vs Macklin and is not a draw.

Broner got paid 1.5MM to fight Paulie Malignaggi! His team was hailing him as the next Floyd Mayweather, which is completely laughable after he barely got by Paulie. I mean come on. When we're talk about overrated, there is only one picture in the dictionary, and that is Adrian Broner.

Promoter speak vs real fans, I don't see many educated fans hyping Broner

You've only got to imagine what this board would be like if Golovkin was Mexican.

According the Lampley and Kellerman he is the adopted son ( the one who can fight) of Chavez senior

I think GGG would sale a lot more if he was Mexican more but than he would be with Top Rank or Golden Boy and he would not be as hyped because people never give mainstream fighters this credit, if Canelo's 3rd best win was Ishida it be a little embarrassing.

My god you are clueless about boxing nowadays. Apart from Trout Canelo has beaten noone and that fight was close. an old Baldomir and an average Cotto? there is noone. Apart from DPDL there are no big wins on Broners resume and alot of people have him losing that.

Give GGG some respect, at least he has never even looked like losing.

PS this thread started is a joke. Who wouldnt want to see GGG fight the best out there? And if you think Alvarez would get in a ring with GGG you are sadly mistaken.

I'm not going to try to explain why GGG is a real fighter because no one here knows anything about techniques or methods so its a waste of time!!!
Try to get a grip on the the "expression" he's a good boy!

A "good boy" is a fighter who comes to fight and gives a solid effort! Its an old "inside boxing " expression and GGG knows some history within the sport and uses boxing expressions!
Thats the real meaning its NOT lil boy or a dirogitary comment its a respectfull one!!!

GGG's management has sent out contracts to all the middleweight contenders, no one seems to be willing to negotiate. I wonder why? Ray.

Honestly if GGG was an American fighter you wouldn't like him your bias oozes through like a Pactard. I'd take a shot Mosley, Vazquez really is a p4p guy and Canelo beat him, Lopez was basically the same as the Rosado fight, if you are claiming that GGG's resume blows away Canelo's that's a lie, GGG claim Ishida and Proksa as great wins, you dont know shit about boxing other than GGG isn't American so you nuthugg him, your comments worshipping Ishida as a great win was some of the most despicable comment I have read, Quillin should face Ishida or will you cry GGG ruined him, admit it you are in love with GGG because of the hipster hype.

On the flipside, broner did jump up two weight classes and never looked in any trouble at any point of the fight.
When was the last time paulie got knocked out?

I think GGG has an effortless style , he punches so hard , he is also not an asshole like Broner , so who wouldn't want him to fight in a superfight ? Unless you are a total retard.
