Unbelievably stupid, he took playing around to a new level. No idea what that post fight interview was about either Why on earth wouldn't he want a rematch, Weidmen obviously wasn't on his level.

Everyone's gonna say "WTF WAS HE DOING DROPPING HIS HAND/PLAYING GAMES/ECT"... but he's done that to pretty much every one of his opponents in the UFC and people have cheered him for it. He played with fire one too many times and got burned.

Agree totally, but it did seem especially over the top tonight, at least given that he hadn't mounted much of his own attack. He clearly didn't respect Weidmens stand up whatsoever, but it makes me wonder what kind of sparring he is used to You really can't do that against any kind of capable boxer/striker.

Anderson defeated himself, he says he doesn't want a rematch but I'm thinking Dana isn't going to have any of that BS. A strange situation, there is no telling what the outcome will be.

Good luck to Weidman because everyone that Anderson defeated is going to want a run at him after that strange, confusing and stupid fight--it left the smell of Professional Wrestling in the air.

Dana will be cursing for a week, at least.

Almost to a tee, he kept doing his best matrix impression rather than offer his chin exactly, but small difference. Frustrating thing was there was so much of the same crap before the finish came, where Silva should have been teeing off himself, Weidmen was almost following suit in spots.

This is exactly why Silva hasnt fought Bisping yet. Bisping is technical and has good enough movement to get in and out with getting hit with a counter. Dana White would never make Silva vs Bisping.

Silva has never went up against a striker has technical as Bisping.

I'll go ahead and put Wiedman on Franklins level as far as striking. But Weidmans quicker and stronger with better finishing capabilities. And Silva is older know than he was against Franklin.

Besides Franklin and Weidman, the next best technical striker Silva has fought would be Sonnen.

Sonnen would have finished Silva just like that in there first fight if Sonnen had the finishing capabilities of Wiedman.

Its you're, and yes the guy wasn't on his level. The only reason Silva would do that is because he knew it, but he obviously payed the ultimate price last night. Almost anyone could get a knockout if a guy gives them that little respect, it doesn't mean he's the better fighter.
