Totally missed it. Was he counted or waved off?? Sounds like they traded shots until one was totally spent

Unreal. That's BAD. Like Juanma getting destroyed by Salido twice bad. It'll be interesting to see where he goes from here.
Dont, the guys an idiot.
As for the comment above, whos to blame?
Maloney. Hes the one who has the business end decisions about Price.
He called Lennox and begged him to help out Price. It was going to take more than that.
He jumped from retired british level journeymen to someone who had just fought the best heavy in the world. That was a ridiculous choice of opponent. Price had faced no adversity up until then.
Then instead of getting 2 or 3 fights with the level he should have moved on to they throw him back in there with Thompson again!
Maloney is clueless and Price is just not workd level because even someone as inexperienced as Price would beat Thompson, if they were genuine world class.
Agreed. I think training with Lewis can only be a good thing for Price long term, but one camp wasn't going to have a drastic impact on him. Especially when he was fighting someone who had just knocked him out and was by a distance the most experienced/best fighter Price had been in with. I don't think Lewis' presence had any significant impact on this fight, but that's not to say that if they have multiple camps together it won't benefit Price. They just need to make sure he's in with the appropriate opposition to work on these new things, because Thompson most certainly isn't the kind of fighter a prospect should be looking to try new things against.
When I said Lewis complicated the situation that was what I meant. Obviously Price forgetting everything he has learnt and been taught in that fight was not all Lennox's fault but having two trainers voices in your head, on top of the psychological baggage the previous loss inflicted, could not have helped. Giving up the advantage a long reach and decent jab gives you to try and trade in close is beyond insane. Respect to Thompson though he showed his mettle and revealed his class. Even without his post fight brilliance he left a big mark on British fight fans.
Haha! Firy giving Lennox shit on twitter!
Saying he told him price was shit but never mind team Fury will let him carrytheir bucket!
Then aload more but I cant be arsed to type it all. Hes even offered aprice to join his team so Peter Fury can improve him![]()
I actually want to see Fury-Thompson, I think it would be an interesting match up.
I was watching it on WealthTV and mine went straight to a show about Lebanon, it's weird because it seems like other Americans got to see the post fight.
I got no post fight either. I paid for the wealth feed.
You might be the biggest idiot to ever post on this forum. Maloney didn't want the fight, Price and his team pushed for it. He was interviewed by BoxNation an hour before the start and he said he was nervous and worried about the outcome. The interviewer who asked him the question about is health was out of order and you're on here digging on an old man who has stuck by a fighter even though he should have retired for health reasons. He could have fucking died after his last heart attack and you have no compassion for that? What kind of fucking moron are you?
Has there been any post fight comments from Price?
Grow up!
Of course Maloney has a say in who he fights! Are you thick!
As for his health, he jumped the gun signing up someone most others could see wouldnt go far in the pros. If you cant stand the heat, get out the kitchen. He saw a big lad who could punch. He had blinkers on to his vulnerabilities, although he deffinitly knew about them hence the Sextons, Harrisons and Skeltons.
What was his game plan,! to me he did not have one after the 3 rd Price was knackered, he boxed
terrible no stamina shocking the way he boxed.!
The state of Maloney after the fight, I think he wants to pack in management before it kills him.!
as for Price I don't no were he goes, is he finished as a player in the HW division on his last 2
performances you would have to say yes.!
Iv been saying for ages that Price was over rated. A few got excited about him bowling over some 40 something british journeymen.
This is Tony Thompson... Who is now being over rated on the back of this fight.
Price will go no where, he showed he just doesn't have the guts or will to win. He could do a Haye and fiddle around some highly suspect opponents and then get a title shot and just back peddle the whole time but in reality, he will never be what you all want out of a heavyweight because he doesn't have any fight in him. He is so ingrained with the amateur style still. He threw one right hook that hurt Tony but then went back to the straight rights. Hooks whether left or right work better because they arent as easy to see coming. He himself got dropped with a hook!
Lennox was dragged in and paid by Maloney to be there. He did not hive his time up for free to work with and put his name to a liability. Price was never going to learn in training, he needed some old campaigners who are tired. Drag Golota out, Liakovich, Sprott etc.
He needs to feel the pressure and deal with it. He again got thrown in at the deep end and also, what the fuck was up with his fitness? He came in lighter but no six pack like normal and was fucked in the 3rd!
