I disagree with everyone but I'll let you slide on Pulev.

Haye throws 1 punch at a time, fights from distance, and has shown he's unwilling to mix it up with a heavyweight that big. UD Thompson (in the US of course). I just really don't like Haye vs anyone he doesn't have a great shot of knocking out. He's got gobs of talent but never has used it properly...that's what he gets for having some fruitcake spin class instructor as his trainer. Haye should have hired Freddy Roach

    Scott is pure garbage

Jennings is young and quick, but has he ever had to open up a fighter like Thompson? Until he does I'll side with Tony.

Povetkin is one dimensional and a flake...you'll see

Solis is fat and looks for 1 punch too

Tony Thompson is like the tortoise in the fable the Tortoise and the Hare...he's got a slow and steady workrate, an excellent defense, and he wins rounds. Hard to beat that, it's very difficult to beat that
You really think Malik Scott is garbage? Why? I thought he performed very well in his last fight, despite the result, which in my opinion, was wrong. I also think he beats Derek Chisora in his next fight. I'm not suggesting he beats Wladimir Klitschko or anything crazy like that, but I think he would beat a lot of the other top ten heavyweights.

Your are delusional, pal. Thompson has too much experience on his side for me to say that Mansou would beat him but Price? Id bet my house on Mansour to knock him out within 6 rounds..

Price isn't even on the level of Michael Grant.

Adam booth has done a fantastic job with haye and so far great things with groves so that comment can be ignored.

Price can possibly come back but as someone mentioned this is a waaaaay past it tony thompson who beat him up TWICE.

Price might not have it him anymore and his prime might have passed.

You dont need to be in your forties to have past your prime.
Amir khan is a lovely guy with great talent but IMHO he has passed his prime.

I think we should just all get behind the most exciting british fighter at the moment and thats tyson fury.
He has no stamina issues and just needs a prime trainer to make him so much more.

You think Malik Scott is good enough to beat Tony Thompson? He got a SD vs Glavkov and you're telling me he would beat a guy who is a top 5 heavyweight? He can't punch with any power, he's another guy who likes to fight on the outside which is Advantage Thompson. And the guy just hasn't fought quality opponents hence his record being what it is.

Scott could very well beat Chisora but Del Boy is mental

Mansour is 40 and had just over as many professional fights as Price has had. Yes Price would beat Mansour like he stole something....which knowing Mansour's history he probably would have. Monte Barrett would beat Mansour. the man is fighting Maurice Harris next...WHO? EXACTLY!

Adam Booth is a twat. David Haye has natural ability and there are 2 things that have held him back from achieving more in the heavyweight division #1 His piss poor attitude and #2 His piss poor trainer.

Michael Grant would be a good opponent for Price to rebound against. Chinny as hell, not the biggest puncher in the world, and coming off a KO loss.

He took a hellacious shellacking from Thompson who landed a barrage of power punches.Uppercuts, hooks, crosses all landed On Price's head , his jaw, his body pretty much anywhere he pleased and he still couldn't bring the big man down.

"dont get anxious or try going for a shootout start using your jab and your feet a bit more"
Franny his coach new what Price needed to do but I think David was so paranoid about getting hit on the ear and going down that he abandoned the game plan and used up too much nervous energy. Until the final round it was certainly not an abject performance and many of the shots Price threw and landed would have finished a lesser man than Thompson. He'll be back.

The most exciting British fighter at any point in the whole of history has never been and never will be Tyson Fury. He thinks he Irish so why should any Brit get behind him? Here are a list of some fighters better than Tyson Fury from the UK

    Scott Quigg
    Carl Froch
    David Haye
    George Groves
    Darren Barker
    Nathan Cleverly
    Martin Murray
    Matthew Macklin
    Amir Khan
    Billie Joe Saunders
    Ricky Burns
    Kevin Mitchell
    Paul Butler
    Jamie McDonell

George Groves and David Haye are both very good fighters who could be GREAT fighters with another trainer

Currently its fury as i said.
Everytime he gets in the ring I think his trousers will fall down or he gets knocked out.
Then the guy sings after a ko which i find quite amusing.
I dont want him to fight haye next as theres alot more other fights he can entertain us with.

My advice would be not to fight Thompson anymore

Barrera lost to Junior Jones twice.

    Mosley lost to Forrest twice.

    Forrest lost to Mayorga twice.

These were higher level opponents and the losses came at more advanced stages in these guy's careers, but their careers were far from over.

Price can come back I'd imagine.

Would you not think a change in management would be a good choice for Price.
Emulating Lennox or having him as a trainer is not going to work.
He could join Wlad's camp but would he be more than a sparring partner.
Agree with the psychological part, greatly overlooked aspect in boxing.

For me I was surprised they threw Price back in with Tony so fast, throw the cubs in with the lions.

Price has a chance against Fury, but "humiliate" him in 12-18 months, not going to happen.
Then you have to consider the opponents Fury will be facing and improving in a years time.

2 KO losses in succession will of damaged his earning potential especially if fighting against journeymen, and I think despite his losses he will have a hard time matchmaking against other prospects.
He needs to get back in the ring asap, build confidence, develop his own style, not copy Lennox.

I think he would absolutely smash Wilder, after he gets back into winning ways, then maybe Chisora before he thinks about Fury.

Not the time to talk about hanging up the gloves yet.
