its official.. Danny Garcia agrees to face Mythesse on the Floyd undercard!!

It's great that these two are going to entertain us and climb into the ring. Both of these men are nervous but fear of one another is natural. Danny is a champion and Lucas is of championship caliber. The prize is the title and a big notch on their reputation. It's called prize fighting and it was the right time to do this. All flag waving aside and quoting others in this forum what's nationality got to do with two sportsman showing their wares and justifying their claim to being number one on the night in question. I have been around for a while and I learned one thing, being a fan is a great deal less painful because we live through our favorites and not the other way around. I think that Danny will try to box circles around Lucas and Lucas will try to act like a lawn mower rushing Danny. I give both Danny and Lucas two chances, win or lose. A hard close fight might have us clamouring for a rematch and who will be thinking about Floyd then? We can also share this forum without attacking each other and just have fun. Oh yes, I give Lucas a chance but Danny is no chump.

I cant belive everyone is picking matthyse to win, i think Danny handles him, just going off the Judah fight alone, Mathysse had much more trouble with Judah then Danny, and it was a game Judah that showed up for Danny, i think Danny takes him out early, his power is underrated.

I meant against Mathysse, everyone seems to be mentioning how strong Mathysse is, but they forget Danny can crack just as well

Yea fair enough. He can bang that's for sure. I don't think he has the same power Matthysse does judging from his fights before Khan. KOing Khan doesn't take much and the shot he caught Morales with was just a peach.

Despite his clowning outside the ring, Angel Garcia is a pretty good trainer imo. The man is smart. I realized this while watching the fights against Khan and Judah. He was telling Danny exactly what to do and his voice was very clear and direct. Trainers need to have this quality and Angel has it.

With the right game plan, Danny can win and I really wouldnt even consider it as an upset if he did.. BAsed on many peoples opinions though, it seems like Mythesse is some kinda massive favorite lol which I dont understand but this is a 50-50 fight in my eyes..

Danny has be the boxer in this fight. He has to box from distance and slug in spurts when he sees openings.

How great can Mythesse be? he got beat by Zab and lost 3x or something like that to Maidana as an amatuer although that was long ago. Still doesn't change the fact that he can be beat by more than one..

Great fight. It's hard not lean toward Matthysse considering he has the advantage in pretty much every category, other than age, but Danny has surprised me before. I'm rooting for both guys.
