Who's next for derry Mathews?

I dont see much of a future for him. He really isnt that good. I think his best performances were against Crolla. His options for me are a Crolla rematch and a Coyle rematch. Id say there are about 10 other fighters in his weight class in Britain who are better then him so Im not fussed about seeing much of him in the future.

He said he's going to fight until he's had 50 fights. No doubts he's aware this is his level, he knows he wont go any further than domestic. He's done well to come back though and be a very active British fighter. No matter what happens he's always in a good fight though and ill always have time to watch him. He can never be underestimated though when he can produce one punch knockouts like last night. That was amazing to watch.

The fight was bad for Mathews but it is rare he fights so badly.

No Crolla rematch please.

Crolla is likely going to fight Burns come end of the year so I think a 3rd fight is out for the time being.

I'd like the Kevin Mitchell fight. It'd be fun to watch as both can bang and both can be hurt. I'd say Kev has too much for him though, but that depends which Mitchell shows up.
