What did u think of Bojado back in the early 2ks and do u still think he can make noise??
To those of you who dont know, Bojado used to be a super prospect a decade ago but fell off due to too much personal shit..

he wont amount to shit, he hasn't fought in like 6 yrs, and has losses against Forbes and an ancient Leijas of all people, Bojado was a lazy ass and that's why he failed to ever do anything when he was in the prime of his career, had all the talent in the world but honestly he should just go like for a 9 to 5 cause he looks like a whale in the vid and I doubt he'll be taking his flat career anymore serious now then when it was actually rolling in the right direction, Bojado=one of the biggest waste of talent in the last decade
I can tell you were once a huge fan of his haha.. But you are right, his prime years has gone by and he missed the boat. So sad man cuz he was supremely talented, and i mean really talented.. He had so much talent that even Floyd Sr took him in at one point. He's one of the very few prospects ive see who threw a change-up left hook and he did it so effortlessly.
I mean he wasnt just some dime a dozen prospect like the Frankie Gomez or the Luke Campbells that the Brits love to hype for nothing but dude was exceptionally gifted and had the whole world ahead of him.
I can't believe he wasted all that man. He really is the biggest waste of talent in the last 10 years.
he had the makings to be the complete package, not only a world champ but a star in the sport, he had charisma, skills, and a pleasing style, but he was a lazy fuck
he's in the same boat as Vargas (although I cut him more of a break and blame it more on his managers/handlers), Guzman, Ortiz, Escobedo, and Lopez, the only thing is he's the captain of the ship because at least the other guys managed to pic up titles against legit opposition, although not reaching their full potential
Tell me about it brother. That's just another reminder that talent and skills aren't everything in Boxing. There are so much more to it in order to make it to the top..
DO u also remember how Bojado and Cotto turned pro around the same time and Bojado was regarded as the better prospect of the two? It's crazy when I think about it now cuz they both took two totally different roads and Cotto has accomplished so much.. it seems like yesterday.. Time flies man.
I think him and Fernando Vargas should fight for California supremacy.
Outstanding prospect, he had all the physical skills, speed, timing, talent, ability, but it's the psychological part that he lacked.
Boxing is the great truth-teller, and amongst world-competition, the prizes are at the top, and if a dude simply doesn't have what it takes to compete at the higher levels, then he'll be found out. He'll find out about himself, and the fans will find out, but a guy will never know how far he can go unless he gives it a shot. If something's lacking, you won't get far. Some guys get found out the first time they train and find it too hard. Some find out the first time they spar and leave the gym. 99.9% of people are just not cut out to be professional fighters. For all his talent, Panchito wasn't psychologically cut out for it. He could probably become a top coach and pass on his knowledge about technique.
I saw him fight in Atlantic City in 2004. I thought he was going to be the next Mexican superstar.
He was talking shit about Victor ORtiz for a while and wanted to face him.. I always wanted to see that too...
Otiz VS Bojado would be off the hook!!
