At 160? Ouch. In 1988/91 Jackson's eye was an issue, but that did not stop him flattening Norris and Graham. The Hawk's chin was also pretty solid at the time (McCallum aside, who was rather special and could bang at 154). Benn had not yet developed the 'cuteness' that made him a better fighter (IMO) at 168. As brilliant as he was fighting fire with fire against DeWitt, Barkley, Logan et al, I do not see Benn being 'stung' into action against Jackson; I see him getting flattened.
But I would have loved to have seen it. And knowing my pretty shocking record in predicting fights, maybe Benn wins...

Somebody would have woke up on their back staring at the ceiling (probably Benn but you never know)

Eubanks had a truly great chin and heart and his wins against Benn and Watson defined his legacy. However he was vulnerable and not subsequently as good after the Watson fight. Eubanks avoided Herol Graham, Toney and Jones because they would give him problems and he could make more money defending his WBO title forever.
I think Froch v Eubanks would be a classic war.
The Eubanks that fought Benn the first time would beat Golovkin.

Fair Comment, but I can't find Jackson on Eubank, Watson, Benn, Collins or Calslappy's list of opponents!
There were some great fights out there and I enjoyed them all, but I think we thought the middleweight division was ours and had some 'set up' UK only fights, all excluding Bomber Graham. Nigel was the most adventurous in terms of risky opponents and deserves credit for it. Eubank was quality and deserved his fame, I only wish Chris Junior could hit a bit harder! But perhaps Sebastian will deliver the Eubank message at heavyweight.

Shame really.
Look at all eubank has achieved but then he was so reluctant to fight jones and toney and even admitted that he didnt fancy his chances.
Why would any professional boxer say something like that especially after all he has achieved.
Eubank might have been toney or roys kryptonite at the time.
On paper and looking at his skills roy seemed invincible but he never faced a michael watson or nigel benn. (Not knocking roys opponents just saying the latter were very tough as well)
Nigel benn would fight anyone, anywhere..thats why he is my favorite british boxer of all time.
