That would be pretty horrible to end your career being beaten by someone like Rios. Thankfully I can see the reverse being the much more likely outcome.

Sadly it depends on what Manny has left and how gun shy he will be. With a prime mentally together Manny this looks like Margarito 2 but I'm not even sure Manny really wants to go on anymore. Puzzled a little as to why Roach would go public with this.

I can see what he means though. If Manny can't hang with and beat someone who was outboxed by Alvarado then his mojo has truly flown and there is nothing to gain by carrying on flattering lesser fighters and inflating their records. I think judging by the first few rounds of his last fight he has a couple of fights left in him and he should be ok. Then he should rematch Bradley to erase that judging anomaly before retiring on a big one. We won't really know until he fights Rios.
