I never understood why everyone compared Broner's style to Floyd's cuz really, they have only very things in common..

Broner tries hard to imitate Floyd's persona but in the ring, the counter right hand and the way he poses with his shoulder are the only resemblance. OH yea, and they both throw one punch at a time..

At the end of the day, he'll never be like FLoyd because he's not nearly as good defensively.. ONe of Floyd's biggest assets and the reason he's so great is because his defense is nearly impenetrable and Broner doesn't have that. He gets hit too much because he stays in the pocket instead of using his legs like floyd.

In broner's defense, I can say that he's more exciting than Floyd and will be in some cracking fights but as far as them being similiar, they are not..

Not to mention floyd was much more active in the ring at that stage of his career, he didnt stand and throw one punch like he does now, he moved and threw combos

I don't care about his attitude etc. He's a cheesy gimmick stuck on stale punch lines, bit like a toddler throwing a fit in the middle of the store in order to draw an audience. He has some ability, but I really do think he's a flawed fighter in some regards and once someone forces him on his heels he can be sparked.

    Welcome to the forum btw.
The fact that he could have been a 4 division champ if he had stopped at 140 does say a lot but he didn't invent the system and I it's just a fact he's not in his prime but he's still better than most boxers between 135-147 so it's unfair to call him a prospect.
Woulda-coulda. All it says is that he cherry picked a trinket from a guy who got beat up by Cano much worse. Lets not get it twisted. He skipped 140 cause it was more attainable with less of a threat, unless he wanted to pick the trinket off the bones of a destroyed Peterson. Who's says he is a 100 percent certainty over a Vazquez or Abril at 135?! Not me. He better "improve" quick and find a defense if he even dreams of 147 cause apparently his pop hasn't arrived from the trip up. I think all three beat him off his recent goes.

Did you consider Peterson ruined after he lost to Bradley? Vazquez is one of the best boxers in the world and Avril easily beat the guy who now has a Manny fight, people seem confused with Broner they overestimate him or think he's a bum.

    The futur will tell
I liked Floyd better under "Pretty Boy " title rather than " money ". I really didn't start to question Floyd until the whole Pac issue ( which I blamed both for ). Twitter and all this other bologna didn't exist when he was Broners age so we really don't know , but Broner is over the top sometimes.

After Bradley? Nah, he obviously bounced back albeit with a little extra 'boost'. The way Matthysse left him in a mashed heap though...time will tell. Broners not a bum, but broken down case for case I have yet to see anything spectacular. Right now his mouth has caused more havoc than his hands.

Adrian has talent unquestionably. His over confidence can be an asset but when that confidence blinds you to your own weaknesses such as defense and not using enough angles and footwork while on offense then the results are going to be just what we witnessed when Adrian got beat up by Marcos Maidanna. Adrian has heart just needs to be smart, confidence needs to be earned not just assumed.

I really don't have a thing against the way Broner fights, he can imitate anyone he wants. As long as he keeps winning everything is good.
I don't like the disrespect he shows toward other fighters, boxing and the fans.
The thing that bothers me the most is that it's unnecessary. He could get all the attention he wants by fighting and winning.
I wonder what he really thinks about all the people who were gleefully happy about the fact that he lost. I wonder if he realizes or cares that it was mostly his own behavior that caused most of it.

Broner = shit. Constantly moves backwards and gets caught on the ropes, barely jabs. I bet he gets away with that shit every time he spars because he is a silver spoon-fed, stupid motherfucker. He is so fucking stupid he actually believes his own bullshit. There is no hope for cunts like that. I was shocked that I didn't get any real enjoyment out of him officially losing. Probably because unlike Floyd at the end of the day he actually sucks balls and anybody with any real sense knew he'd get the shit beaten out of him eventually. Furthermore, the whole fucking Floyd thing is beyond a fucking joke - its actually quite disturbing.
