Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
Hope not I find Ouma boring as hell, he just throws punches nonstop which sounds good in theory but in reality he throws them not to hurt his opponent but rather to stop them from doing anything. He just constantly sticks a little powder puff jab on them so that they can't get into their groove.
It's actually not that much different to clinching really.
He's just bothersome rather than a serious threat, like Sam Soliman. Don't like either of them.
Taylor will win this one.Originally Posted by wacko3205
Taylor by TKO...Ouma throws a bunch of punches BUT he gets hit alot and as we saw vs Karmazin, Ouma is not good vs guys that can jab
This is just odd
If Ouma's gonna move weight classes it should be to 147. He's already a small jr middle, so they move him up to middleTo face a huge middleweight, a guy that would be solid at 168
Jantuah, Karmazin and Rubio all made Ouma look very small, the size difference in this one is going to be ridiculous.
I mean Taylor gasses versus guys that don't throw a lot of punches, he could easily gas out in this fight but Ouma's gotta be able to take his punches, which with the size advantage that Taylor's got is going to be tough.
You are probably right. Ouma isn't even a champ at 154 lb right now so it seems absurd for both fighters to take this.Originally Posted by OumaFan

Well it makes more sense than Mora or that other guy but it doesn't make sense for Ouma to move up. There's no need to, he usually barely breaks 160 when he comes into the ring, its not like he has to dry out to make 154.Originally Posted by bilbo
I mean I'd love to see it but I don't think its a good career move to move up to 160.
Yea, Ouma is not that good. All he does is gets hit a lot and Jermain Taylor will hit hard enough. Plus, all Ouma does is throws a bunch of soft shots which won't work against JT. I think that is why he was a chosen opponent.Originally Posted by Lyle
Come on guys,we know Boxrec sucks!!! Wouldn't Ouma have to move up,I mean he is by no means a big 154 pounder!! I think JT would beat him easily, just over power him.
Well we know of a welter trying to fight Winky and Ouma has wanted Winky for some time so not so terribly odd and maybe Oscar said "calm down Ouma- if you can beat Taylor, I will let you fight your/our stablemate"; or maybe Oscar is just trying to get rid of Ouma.
But would Oscar really want to get rid of his main man at light middle since Shane is moving down? I guese it would leave Oscar in better shape since it is his weight to.
Ah it is a big money fight and that is all Oscar probably cares about for this will be his fourth big payday off Taylor including Hopkins 1&2, Winky, and now Ouma.
Taylor will stop Ouma atm, its too soon for Ouma right now atm plus the fact the weight will suit JT soooo much better.
I think Taylor would be to big & technically better, Ouma would come to fight & throw hundreds of punches as usual but Taylor would neutralize him with that jab. Taylor wins by decision.
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
This is a promotional fight. Most boxing fans know that Taylor could beat Ouma very easily. Still, like some people have said, it Ouma is popular enough, so in my eyes, it's another sneaky move by Taylor to get a "W."
