If stevens manages to land his money shot on GGG, don't even bother counting.
Ggg is far from a defensive wizard so hell definitely have to eat some shots.
Who do u think would land first?

Well, my first post may as well be on Golovkin.
GGG might not be a defensive wizard but he's not a face-first brawler either. I think he's levels above this guy and would time the right-hand before Stevens can land anything of consequence.
I don't see this fight being a war - I think Golovkin picks him apart and scores a mid-round stoppage without taking much damage.
You need two fighters of a similar standard to produce a war, which I don't think we have here.
Bradley and Prov are about two notches apart but look what happened. Regardless of levels, anything can happen when two men step inside the ring.
I get what you are saying though. Welcome to Saddo
True. I guess it depends on how inclined Golovkin is to fight fire with fire. My guess would be that he'd be respectful of Stevens' power and would try to pick him apart with power-punches rather than go toe-to-toe.
I wouldn't mind seeing this fight though, especially if GGG also fights someone like Murray before the year's out. He could really build some more momentum.

Oh ok. Glad you made the jump. You should find this place a lot more hospitable. Lots of good guys here. My friend Miles is not here right now - taking a needed break - but you will like him a lot. He is widely accepted as the greatest ever contributor to these boards. I think it's unanimous in fact.

Murray would be a better test for GGG than Stevens cuz he is durable. Stevens got blown away by a journeyman, outboxed by Dirrell and lost to tv reality contender failure Jesse Brinkley. He isnt going to go from that kind of form to giving Golovkin a decent fight
Golovkins jab is coming along nicely. Its the kind of short power jab that leaves a guy stuck to it and in range. I think he'd do a number on Stevens but it would be a interesting fight.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room Stevens does not have a great resume how ever this was a guy who fought giants however bummy they may have been. Losing to that Dirrell at 168 isn't embarassing, Dirrell was 7 inches taller than Stevens and he still ran, bringing up that fight is like thinking Abril-Rios means Rios has no shot Manny isn't running and neither is Golovkin. So i don't hold that against him. He was 21 when he lost to Primera and he avenged it it is what it is. Brinkley is the most embarrassing lost he wasnt a kid and his opponent didn't run.
So if you think Stevens has no shot I get it. But you need a couple things to beat GGG who is a very good fighter, you can't be scared of GGG, stevens doesn't fear Golovkin, you need power and Stevens clearly has that, you need defense which Stevens doesn't have, Stevens also had timing and speed that will keep GGG honest.
To me if Golovkin takes this fight it's gutsy and it'll be his second best win to me.
To me he could very well beat Quillin or Golovkin.
