The real question is - Would Cotto have been knocked sparked out or had to quit? I'm not sure
He also got dropped regularly by super bantams and feathers...
Was Naz ever knocked out? This is a YES or NO answer? Don't try and play games
No because he took on the loser of a big fight at a lower weight, lost, cried, fucked around with a euro level fighter then left before he did get knocked out as hed run out of beatable options

All we can do is speculate, seeing as Hamed retired after fighting his first and only elite, young prime fighter, Barrera is all we can use when measuring him against the likes of Cotto and Pac.

Pac stopped Cotto and Barrera, Barrera beat Hamed. End

You can speculate this and that, but the MAB equation is 100% fact.

He'd beat Cotto in an all you eat whilst looking like a goblin contest, I'll give him that.

I think thats the bigger question, can Hamed actually come back from defeat and not transform into a land walking Puffer fish

In fairness to Cotto though he usually doesn't take on that look until rounds 8-12 now

    Thoughts?

If Naz had never had a family, I do not believe he'd of ever lost.

Loss of motivation and interest in boxing was his downfall.

THE FIGHT? Goes one of two ways.

The best Naz vs Cotto? Naz sparks him.

However.... Naz on the same form as his American debut? Cotto stops him.

Was Coot ever lower then light Welter? Was Naz any bigger then feather (apart from now). If Naz somehow gets Cotto down to featherweigt Im sure he sparks him, although at that stage a strong gust of wind would put him down.
