There are prospects who are light years better than Shiming yet starving to get on a card but this chinese dude happened to be at the right place at the right time and he's being treated like a fuckin royalty. Him being put on main event with a 500k purse is just unheard of and it's mind boggling.

On the flipside though, this is business and Zou is boosting up the ratings. In his last fight, he drew close to 300 million viewers in China so imagine if he keeps winning. That's some crazy fuckin number right there. So in a business sense, he does deserve that kind of money..

Leonard wasn't a 32 year old who appears average in the pros.Also only card on HBO since June.

HBO wants boxing to become Cloud vs Stevenson, Alvarado vs Ruslan, Rios-Manny. They want to ignore Rigo and Ward and make any defense be considered running. Zou being the only show on HBO for 7 weeks is pretty much them giving up.
