There is room for 8 million words a minute Abdominable and more esoteric instrumentals from Fingathing and TM Duke. The game flavour is there throughout but the rules are open and operating over many levels.

For me Hip Hop is the ultimate post modern musical form of expression. From it's origins in Ragga dance halls through breakdancing, plunderphonics and turntablist culture it has always been about reinterpretation. DJ's and MC's practising for hours in order to be able to improvise and react to a crowded warehouse or party. It belongs to the world and attempts to make it a corporate homogenised product kind of misses the point. I don't have a top ten of Hip Hop Artists just like I would find it hard to pick just 10 Punk Bands or 10 of anything but here are 10 you may or may not have heard before
