John Daly was one of the most popular golfers in his day. He was also a loudmouth, obnoxious drunk who frequently embarrassed the golfing establishment. But you know what? He was true to himself. No hypocritical high-fiving of the fans... no kissing babies... no fake apologies on TV. He was like a bull in a china shop. And I kinda liked that.

Bulletin: What makes Tiger so unlikeable isn't his infidelity. It's his boorish and fake personality.

Oh right so it's his personality now. Well as i've said before, personally I've never met him so I wouldn't really know about that.

But even if he was a child molesting serial killer, It can't change the fact that he's a brilliant golfer. He's just a simple human being, like the rest of us, that happened to be fantastic at hitting a little ball around a park. Nothing more, nothing less....

It's always been his boorish personality. Bother to read back through my many Tiger posts and find one that says I don't like him 'cause he was unfaithful. Or don't. Fact is... he IS good. Too bad he'll always play 2nd fiddle to the great Golden Bear. In every aspect.
