More than likely but u just never know . Let's just say he does . Let's say he loses his speed, reflex and all he's left with are his skills and guile.

    What happens?

A hybrid but more fundamentally sound version of Jones jr may happen. But I think Floyd is content and grounded enough to get out when its time.

I can see Floyd Mayweather in his late 40s... his wealth will be gone!

Anyways, he will be a having a good fight with Alvarez next month (he's not yet at his 40s) LOL

Floyd currently earns more money in one year (two fights) than Hopkins has made for his entire career. So if he's still fighting in his late 40s he's pissed away some serious wedge.

And all that "hard work and dedication" shit would look super silly.

Just because he's making more money than ever before doesn't mean he isn't spending it faster too. Don't forget he gets to keep less than half of the amount he grosses after taxes and all his people get paid. And when you bet six figure or bigger sums on sports games all the time the rest might not last much longer either. He was heavily in debt before the Marquez fight and may not be much better off now. There's a good chance that we eventually may not have to speculate what a late 40s Floyd would look like in the ring.

I can not imagine it but I did not think with all the wealth Holyfield amassed he would be fighting at nearly 50.

He may be like Hopkins and do it for the love of the game.

With the advancement of sports medicine and hormone replacement therapy, who knows what's possible?

Problem is, Floyds style doesn't revolve around cheating. Holding, mauling head butting etc...

Hypothetically yes because his defense is so good. But he'll retire sooner rather than later
