You are talking like most were about Price before he fought Thompson. Looking good against that level of opposition is not hard. He got dropped by Barrett looked shite against Harrison, didnt deserve the nod against Valuev, struggled to put Ruiz away (even with his massive power and speed) and basically just wanted to hear the final bell against Wlad.

What has he done at heavy that is anything to get excited about?
we are talking about hayes defence not what he has done at HW

Price v Thompson has nothing to do with hayes defence

as said before all of those fighters you mention failed to really hit him with very few exceptions (on his way down against barrett, ruiz once or twice)

wlad (by far the best HW in the world) caught him a few times but never really cleanly

suggests haye has a good defence does it not?
