    froch is doing what Haye, Floyd, and Calzaghe have done and gone to mainstream shows to increase their exposure.

    I do not think Froch is that well known he is certainly behind Haye and Khan in terms of mainstream fans. Boxing wise he is the best but not in terms of popularity and he needs it if he is to sell PPV fights.

    I think you've hit the nail on the head with that. Froch doesn't have much chance being the best in his division with Andre Ward there so a domestic bout was the only option for him to stay mainstream and fight on PPV
