A bit of both, I love the idea of the show, But I hate the way they do it.. I dont like 'reality' tv shows much. Boring and the tv guys just edit it to fit their fan base.
I would pick 'contenders' over 'american idol' eveyday of the week. But I dont watch either really.

Makes you wonder what reality show will be next. I have a feeling Bilbo is going to be pissed when 'She-males trying to become NASCAR heros' becomes the latest hit.

I think it's brilliant. Remember this is a show aimed at the mainstream public as well as the boxing hardcore so it's entirely right and appropriate that they film it the way that they do.

We have HBO and Showtime to do the serious boxing stuff and being on the internet we can download practically every fight ever filmed so I don't think it matters that these fights are edited. It's a tv show first and foremost.

They do it well.
