I think it is great. I am a boxing fan and boxing is pretty much the only tv I watch. With most fights my wife and kids have no interest, unless it's a big ppv. Then they don't watch anything but the main event.

Contender gets the attention of my entire family, my wife cries at every show when they show the loser in the locker room. My youngest kids are 6 and 7 and they root for a fighter and get upset if they lose. It has enough boxing to keep me interested, and enough of the other stuff to get the family involved. For that reason it's great.
