I think it will be very difficult for Oscar to stay clean so long as he is this heavily involved in boxing just for the simple reason that booze and drugs go with the "fight game" more than any other sport.

Oscar going to rehab can only mean one thing. He got caught cheating again. Oscar does drink. And he has gotten drunk. But it's not a problem for him. He doesn't drink every day. And he rarely does any drugs. What is problem for him is the whores. He's addicted to them. He can't leave them alone. He's been caught numerous times. His wife was going to leave him when she found out he fucked a couple of her friends. Oscar blamed the booze and drugs. Said he only cheated when he was drunk or high and he had a problem. She didn't believe him and asked him "how can you have a drinking problem if you rarely drink" and started packing. After gathering a couple of people and having them vouch about his wild ways he convinced her he had a problem and was checking into a rehab. Clueless wife convinced. Marriage saved. It's nothing new. He's always had a whore problem. Back in 94 after he had beat Jorge Paez, Oscar would visit a run down apartment complex in the outskirts of Pasadena known as the Snake Pit. It was home to the Pasadena Denver Lane Bloods. The local gang that controlled all the drug and prostitution activity in the area. The Snake Pit was there headquarters. For 6 months straight Oscar was there every Thursday fucking an 18 year black girl who was related to one of the gangs OG's. He would park his BMW next to there Impalas and Cadillacs and nobody told him shit. During those 6 months he had 2 fights and was in training for the John Molina fight.
