Ishe smith..How good is he?

He's not as good as he should be. Smith first gained attention as Fernando Vargas sparring partner. He helped him get ready for I believe it was the Ike Quartey fight. Vargas praised him highly in the post fight interview. Smith is a very skilled fighter who always looks outstanding in the gym getting ready for a fight. But he never looks as good on fight night as he looked in training. He's his own worse enemy who has a problem letting his hands go. All his losses have been close. And while he has a case for winning them all, he would of helped himself out a lot if he was more active. Smith-Molina is a 50-50 fight. Mainly cuz of Smith. He's skilled enough to easily out box Molina. And inactive enough to get out worked for 12 rounds

IMO Jacobs beat him clearly, but the Guerrero fight was BS, the Powell and Julio fights were close and Mora well that was on The Pretender so wouldn't even pay attention to that shit all that much

The first contender was a great show and sergio was a good fighter.

Mora was smoke and mirrors, his only legit good performance was against Forrest in the first fight and it was because Forrest didn't take the fight seriously at all, as the rematch proved, Mora arguably was given gifts in BOTH Manfredo fights, and his draw against the much smaller Mosley is more a result of how shot Mosley is, he lost not once but twice against another Pretender in Vera, that's why it's hilarious that Chavez Jr is taking him on now

IMO Smith is what he is, a tough fighter that can make anyone look bad but doesn't take it up that level where he has to be to be considered a real top guy in the division, he's solid but wouldn't say that he's anything overly special, Molina is sometimes his own worst enemy, IMO he should be able to pick up the W if he's A) not screwed by the judges/ref again, or B ) he doesn't smother his own work and look flat, if he looks like he did against Cintron then he should have a good night, lets not forget, this is the guy who was screwed twice and should have wins against Chavez Jr and Kirkland, and even arguably against Lara
