Of course impeachment is merely about punishing Obama for his crimes and that is what this thread is about. My anarchistic views advocate far more than impeachment, but in suggesting I am naive, is to suggest that impeachment is the end game. It would merely be the end game for Obama. The emancipation of a country takes more than removing a leader if the system is rotten, it means people have to fight.
I think the models for change are obvious and all around us. The problem is that in the West things have become too controlled and on the side of the authorities. Rights have been stripped, the ability to protest heavily restricted, and yet rebellions around the world show that you can have serious civil disobedience without even being armed. The key is to have unity, but in the West, we don't have that and it has been purposely designed to be that way.
The great thing that the Americans have is that they are armed already, but they are killing one another and nobody is advocating armed insurrection. All the physical tools to do more than merely impeach the President are there and if the President is impeached and nothing changes, then there are obvious strategies to really test the authorities. America is a bankrupt nation, the last thing they need is their own people rising up and ultimately, that is what I would like to see there, and all in the pursuit of people defending their freedoms and rights and having the country that they deserve.
If the Americans want to back Syrian lunatic rebels, then they should see what it is like to see pragmatic American rebels start to come at them. It's a logical response to tyranny and there are no rules to say it can only happen in the Middle East.
