Senchencko got a hard night from Ricky Hatton in his return, I had Hatton well up until he was stopped.

Brook by Knockout, if Malignaggi can stop you (or hits hard enough to cut you), then Brook can.

I remember hearing about what a good prospect Brook was, more or less when I joined this forum! He has had an appalling career trajectory and this is not a step away from that. I think Brook looks very good, but if he doesn't want to fight anyone worth a damn there must be a reason.

If he didn't get injured he would have fought Alexander no doubt that's the step up he's ready for and needed. I do think he needs to challenge a better fighter after this fight. But it's not his fault he had that injury.

At the press conference the other day, when interviewed afterwards, Eddie Hearn was waffling about Khan or Broner. Brook will be no.1 for the IBF if he beats Senchenko and should Khan beat Alexander it looks like that fight will be easy to make, unless Khan gets the Mayweather gig.

Although having said I think Alexander is gonna beat Khan.

Also I think Brook would beat Broner. Serious.

Senchenko is a much better fighter than he is give credit for, mainly due to his defeat to pauli

he had 5 genuine world title fights

lost on cuts to mallinangi which is by far his worst showing, could that be his level or could it be a bad day at the office?

I would lean towards a bad day considering the rest of his carear

i was at the Hatton fight, theres no way hatton was well ahead, the judges had him up by a round which is acceptable but I think the atmosphere and the occasion influenced that, hatton was fading as the rounds went on and was hardly landing anything

i am a massive hatton fan and he was well past his best but Senchenko was on the way to winning that fight

I called the stoppage in the Hatton-Senchenko fight after 3-4 rounds (must be in the RBR fight night thread). It was pretty clear Senchenko was better that he was given credit for and Hatton was obviously beyond shot.

Be surprised if Brook can't stop him though.

everyone on the crowd kept saying another hatton round at the end of every round, by the 6th people had hatton 6 nil up

I think Brooks is re-building his reputation up back after the Alexander fiasco. He is in line to fight the winner of Khan v Alexander. His mistake of not taking Devon because he would have been in the driving seat to fight Khan. I have a feeling if Khan wins the title he will avoid fighting Brooks and go for Floyd. He might as well lose to the best for more money.
