Lara Fires: I've Never Seen a Mexican Quit Like Angulo! - Boxing News

This is ridiculous. Lara is no different than the couch potatoes who are calling Angulo a quitter. smh

    A rematch is necessary..

I figure he wants a rematch for the payday, otherwise this is ridiculous coming from him. Angulo had his orbital bone shattered from one punch, it was by far the most sensible thing to pack it in and I don't consider that quitting. He could have fought on and lost a decision at the price of a detached retina or something but that serves nobody.

When a guy's eye and face is that busted up, usually someone stops the fight.
The Dr, the ref, the cornerman.
A good cornerman is supposed to know his fighter and know when to stop the fight, to prevent his man the humiliation and career-suicide associated with conceding. Boxing ain't like ufc, where several fights end with fighters quitting on every broadcast and it's seen as honourable...

how is he no different? he's the one that made him quit by beating his ass and swelling the eye with legal punches, the fight IMO was one sided to the point that NO rematch is necessary, Angulo needs to build himself back up and reports are his eye is fully healed, cause he had no fracture or any serious injury other than swelling, he needs to start looking for an opponent who isn't a bum and start making a name for himself all over again, Angulo is starting to earn gatekeeper status at 154 and his excuse was weak, "he intentionally thumbed me" yea, I'm sure he did thumb you while wearing thumb-less gloves
