Think Mitchell v Derry Mathews would be a good fight to make while burns fights crolla or if burns is out for a long time Mitchell should fight either of them them two before taking burns again

Mathews is a respectable tuneup for Mitchell . Good fight.

Burns has been walking in thin ice and he's just ready to be taken out. He shouldnt even hold that title right now.

Burns might be skating on thin ice but Mitchell sure isn't the guy to take the belt Mitchell is way overrated on this forum he's a ok domestic fighter he will never win a world title get over it.

i personally think mitchell is a step above the domestic fights

for me he would beat matthews and crolla reasonably comfortably

he seems to be just below world level tho and it seems to be his attitude towards training and lifestyle that is preventing him from stepping up

yes the fight would probably be closer with burns next if they fought again but i cant see it being a different outcome

If Mitchell gets some good wins while Burns is out I can see this happening again. I'm not sure if Mitchell would win a rematch but I doubt he'd get taken out early again if he's mentally right.

Mitchell has had many chances to hit the big time and most of the time he has blown it. I think he is mentally weak and will never win the big one.
