Ryan is right, though considering what is in the charts, I don't think all that many people have particularly good musical taste. I think it is just a fact that most people are not listening to the music that I find interesting and the stuff that ElFinito likes is at the end of the day stuff that was very popular in the 1980's. We can scoff at his taste, but then someone like Greenbeanz will just come along and say, 'miles, you are a blinkered snob'.

People today listen to shite like Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus, it's not cooler than Rick Astley or Madonna really. Personally, I think it is all horrible, but the truth is that most of the music I think is good is somewhat marginalised and the stuff ElFinito has listed has been very popular.
