Chavez Jr. is just who he is. He comes from a good stock of "seed" in his father, Chavez Sr.. I'm amazed he is doing as well as he is, considering he started late and Chavez Sr. didn't want him in the ring and neither was he really interested in it until he was a near adult.

chavez has weak little skinny PRETZEL LEGS or shall I say PENCIL LEGS. He cannot get the leverage unless he is in a very particular stance to throw the left hook to the hip and follow it with the right. Otherwise he just is not aggressive enough, his balance absolutely SUCKS, he can't get off, he makes himself smaller and never keeps his hands in punching position.
