Man thats a great question. I think all of the above run the risk of being overlooked based on just being able to wake up this morning...Botha should be checked twice a day.
Seriously dude, a few fights ago I said a Sherman Williams would be a decent step. Tough hard hat guy with decent skills, perfect height advantage for Wilder. Williams off "iffy" situation with geezer legend like Holyfield, a very good close showing against another comer like Helenius and never stopped, never down in career. He also lost to a Tye Fields 11 long years ago over 12 rounds...unlike Firtha who was sparked cold by Tye 4 years ago. Ok...that was a stretch. My bad.
It would have been "ok" but 7-0 Gerald Washington fought him next. He also dropped Tank for the first time and had more of a potential learning experience less than a single year as a pro. He actually lost a couple rounds, and had to adjust.
Dunno really. Malik Scott? A comebacking Oleg Maskaev. Chavez Jr after Sunday brunchHopefully, someone respectable and not coming in to just fall over in all seriousness.

Those fights could get made I'm sure, just a matter of whether he actually wants them.
This division more then any other is based on timing with few exceptions. Fury was about to fight Haye for what was most likely a shot at one of them. Wilder has had 29 fights and is sporting a 100% ko ratio. It may be unpopular but I'd love to see him and Wlad.
