They have changed the rules, professionals can compete at the next olympics.

I think Arreola has more of a chance than people think. Povetkin was making Wlad retreat in the first few rounds, and easily got inside. Arreola is a MUCH better pressure fighter than Povetkin, and has more power.

40 clinches in rounds 1-3, is a clinch a retreat?

o it cant be otherwise you would have said provetkin was making wlad retreat all the way through the fight

The clinch is used as a strategy. I would relate it to if a Quarterback drops back to pass and all the Wide Receivers are covered and the QB throws the ball away to avoid a sack.

Or in soccer if there's pressure on the Keeper while he's accepting a slow back pass and he quickly boots the ball out of bounds to end the threat to his goal.

It's not a pretty move, but it's a smart one. Wlad used it too often vs Povetkin and Manny Steward would have given him hell in the corner wanting him to get the KO but Wlad's the one doing the fighting he's going to win how he can win, most of the times it's better than that but in the end it's still a win.

The quarter back was also throwing the ball away when he had receiver type guys open and begging for the ball. Sorry but its a fact.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

    nope vital differences

keeper clearing the ball is within the rules v holding in boxing is not within the rules
keeper clearing the ball is a defensive reaction v wlads holding is the bases of his whole attacking strategy

you'll never win this argument because i am right and you are wrong

you can come up with all sorts of crazy analogies like the keeper clearing the ball or hatton fouls too or fouls arent fouls unless they are called but nothing can compare or lighted in any way the extremely extreme level of cheating that wlad does and the corruption that surrounds his fights
