I got no problem with this list, except..........

Sergio has no business being there. He's had a HOF career, and Father Time is taking its toll. How the hell can someone like that be overrated?? Seekins missed the boad big time on that one. Instead of Sergio, I would've inserted JCC Jr., a glaring omission from that list. Now THERE'S a candidate for sure.

"Overrated" is another one of those meaningless terms thrown around boxing and although at times it may be true in most cases its the wrong word. I mean seriously Ricky Burns? If anything that guy is an over achiever. Martinez never started boxing until he was 20 so the same goes for him considering what he achieved. Stieglitz is 32 and has been boxing for about 15 years. The guys at the end of his career so the tag does not fit him either.

In many other cases its the "handlers" that are guilty of the term being used. Fighters are steered, coddled, protected along with the entire concept of risk and reward being changed like no other time in history.

Look at Gary Russell. Talent and speed up the ying yang and yet he's on a snails pace competition wise. Lomachenko made his pro debut last night and smashed Ramirez and in doing so almost has a better resume then Russell lol.

Boxing has become in large measure more of an exercise in careful handling of an investment and return then it is about fighting.
