    'Destroyed calzaghe'

I'm not sure if he meant the boxer, or if he thought 'calzaghe' was something you'd order at an italian restaurant.

James has been delusional and suffering from some odd kind of functional pugilistic dementia for over a decade. He would have needed to smoke crack to stay at 168.

He's a fat lump of shit that disrespected the sport for close to 20 years.

    That's how.

Well Toney is the Boxing version of a Grandmaster.. What the fuck are you haters talking about.

Who has he even fought to carry on this false legacy? He talks the most shit and does the least and has been doing so his entire career.

    Let’s go back to 1991.

Nunn- Toney was getting painted in that fight. Nunn fell asleep and got caught in the 11th. Up until that point he hadn’t won a rd.
Same year he manages a draw against an old McCallum in a fight most thought he lost.
    1992
Tiberi, This was the biggest robbery of 1992 against a journeyman in his last fight.
    1994
    Roy Jones. He goy butchered.
A green Montell Griffin. Beat again.
    1996
    Montell again and loses.
    1997
McCallum again. He wins it and it was Mikes last fight.
Thadzi. Another gate keeper with a belt and Toney loses again and comes in overweight for a 175 title shot
    2003
Jirov – He won but was supposed to.
Holyfield. Yup he stopped Evander who was long past it.
    2005
Ruiz-And he needed steroids to do it and it was changed to an NC.
    2006
Rahman. Could not even beat this warn out slouch.
    Peter. Loses
    2007
    Peter. Loses

One of the biggest blowhards in boxing history and I have never been able to figure out why some think this guy was special, let alone a legend or atg.

Perfect example of someone not being able to separate there hatred for a fighter with facts. They make a fool of themselves. It's comical someone would mention his notable fights and leave out his massacre of Iran Barkley. His highlight reel knock out of Charles Williams. Where's his wins over the undefeated highly touted (at that time) Tim Littles and Reggie Johnson? Yeah Nunn was schooling him for most of the fight. But credit to Toney for still pressing the action. Keep in mind it was Nunn who declined the rematch. Did Tiberi get robbed against Toney? Yes he did. But how you gonna mention that and than just mention his fights against Montell Griffin as loses? They were robberies as well. And Toney was suppose to beat Jirov? In what universe? Toney was being brought in as just the opponent. Him beating Jirov got him comeback fighter of the year. That doesn't happen if it was just a fight he was suppose to win.

Toney today is a fat slob who needs to be a memory, but you can easily ass rape any guys career. I mean it took 5 seperate weight divisions there to bat against him. How the ko of Nunn can be a negative is beyond logic. He was a 20-1 underdog behind and the only reason Nunn fell asleep was he began sponging right hands in his after thought southpaw style. He got wrecked in one of the better kos of the year. Zero fluke about that win. Same with McCallum 1 as far as a chess match on paper turned brawl that Toney was pulling away with at the end. Toney was a fighting champion and kept busy like few at the time. The Griffin 1 fight was an out and out rob job. Toney had a fat mouth before an era of clowns who have proven far less but expect to be thought of the same ability, a great self promoter and while he could be faulted with timing out rounds in the last minute no one else sat in the pocket and rolled off 6' counters at his best then. He beat Peter in the 1st...the Jirov demolition was a very solid disection of a respected champ and one of the better body punchers going in the sport...Toney got fat in the brain and slack and unlike many I don't blame "being blown up" weight wise vs Jones jr, Jones did a great job of out mind fucking Toney like no other and James got got before the bell rang, then he got outclassed and lost. I respect Toney enough to say I dislike him now and hope he goes away. That sludge and butter ball who is hanging onto shawdows is not to be mistaken for a guy who was at one time a serious force and * may lightning strike* a bit of a throw back, a fighting champion.
