funny how that's not what they said when Bradley moved up to 147 in his quest for a fight against Pacquiao opting not to fight Khan at 140
Alexander beats Khan, and Mayweather well is going to retire him if he does in fact get his hands on him, the fact that well Khan has now basically became the equivalent of a warm up for Floyd shows where his career is, this time next year Khan will be with 4 losses all but one by KO
despite picking up titles IMO Khan hasn't lived up to the hype that was billed on him when he started his career, got KTFO by a journeyman in Prescott, beat up an ancient Barrera at 135, decent wins over Judah, Malignaggi, and Kotelnik, a gift against Maidana, beat by Peterson, and KTFO by Garcia, while looking like shit against Diaz, hardly a stellar career, he's looked worse after every loss so what hope does he really have against Floyd
This is bad news for Khan, he would have wanted to fight Alexander for the title, confidence of beating a welterweight and is not a big puncher. The longer the fight was not signed the more chance it was going to fall through. Khan has to fight regularly so he will still fight someone soon.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Im not a khan fan but one thing i cant accuse him of is being a ducker.. he fights anybody at any place and his resume speaks for itself.. as a champion, he fought in Peterson's backyard of washington when he didnt have to.. how many other guys would do that?
Why should he risk it against alexander when he can face the best fighter in the world for a career high payday?
Its strictly a business move.. say what u want about khan but he's down as fuck..
Brook is such a dandy.
Devon will butcher Porter.
