I often will watch the first 50 laps, take a nap and then watch the last 50. I'll say this though, attending a race is a lot of fun and a unique event. If you get a chance to go to a night race at Daytona or Talladega I'd highly recommend it. That is a special piece of Americana culture you won't see many other places.
