I have a lot of respect for fighters, but not Ali; I hope his condition came from the people he talked shit about. And not RJJ. I hope he ends up broke and sucking on his own toes. He shouldna oughta played hoops before a fight.
Your irrational hate is uncalled for friend. In the past you've gone so far as to say Jake Lamotta would stop Roy in his prime.

You can't possibly believe all of this. Roy's a nice guy who held on far too long. No need to wish him ill will.
Thats not so ridiculous, seeing as La Motta gave the greatest fighter ever his first loss.
Roy Jones is the greatest ever. And he wasn't no fuckin welterweight either.
Don't troll me. I'm one of the last allies you have left and probably vice versa lol

You know damn well a guy with a 20% ko ratio who is a face first swarmed sure as hell isn't going to defeat a prime Roy Jones.
What weight is Roy Jones the greatest ever in?
168 Roy Jones is the greatest fighter who ever lived.
Based on what? Beating Toney who had no consistency?

He only held one title at super middle, the IBF. There were 2 other people regarded as world champions, Frankie Liles and Nigel Benn. Benn was a massive name in america too. Especially after he beat McClellan.

There was also Eubank, then Collins.

He wasnt even the best in the division in those 2 years he was in it. To be the best you have to prove it and leave no dispute.

If you think Lamotta would beat Roy Jones prime for prime, you're an idiot.

If you think Lamotta would stop Roy Jones prime for prime, you should be killed.

Lamotta outweighed Robinson, he lost to him 5 times, Lamotta was very lucky to win the title in the last round, he was fortunate to have a great chin.

Yup. Lamotta is one of the most overrated fighters of all time. He basically is regarded as one of the greatest because of ONE fucking win over Robinson who, as you pointed out, was SEVERELY outweighed.

On the night of the fight, Jake had to cut weight to make 160, while Robinson, without cutting weight, weighed in at 144 - he didn't even make Welterweight, let alone middleweight. So it was a middleweight NARROWLY beating a junior welterweight... who gives a shit? If Golovkin beat the shit out of Danny Garcia, what would that prove? People always forget this fact.

Also, there's a misconception that Lamotta was a huge puncher... he wasn't!! He wasn't a dynamic, one punch guy. He was strong as an ox but he was a pressure fighter. He was a brief champ who wasn't able to defend his belt once. He doesn't belong in the same conversation as Roy Jones.

Taking Lamotta over Jones really is one of the dumbest opinions somebody could have in boxing. It's just such a boneheaded thing to think.

Lamotta only had 20 something wins by KO outta over 100 fights.

Greynotsoold is NOT an idiot nor should he be killed. He knows boxing very well. I just think he has a real dislike for Roy Jones, perhaps because he broke all the fundamentals of boxing and still was so great.

I started another thread about Jorge Fernando Castro, he fought Roy n lost a wide UD. If expect a Lamotta fight to resemble that. Was Lamotta tougher than Castro? I doubt it. Nobody was IMO.

Looks like the worst part is he just wants to springboard into a meaningless cash grab with mma Silva. For that reason alone I'd like to see Gunn leave him horizontal
