I thought Bradley won the fight, BUT Bradley took the beating. If i'm Bradley, I still two states away from that guy. Had Prov just let everything loose, it could've been stopped ... but one thing about Bradley is, he's always in super shape.
*I had a draw in the Marquez/Bradley fight. I had Marquez winning 3 out of the first 4 rounds. To me, u can't give the round to Braley cuz he flicks his jab out there and hits nothing... in a few rounds, that's what happened...in the last round, which Marquez won, or should've won... the commentator says"that one punch from Bradley wins that round"..no is doesn't...
He's a great TV fighter and HBO are going to want to keep him on their network for as long as he's fun to watch. Top Rank have a co-promotion option for his next fight and I'm guessing TR and HBO will both want to extend that. So that means fights with Bradley, Rios, Manny and Marquez are all possibilities. I'd like to watch any one of those four fights.
I think I had four rounds in that one 10-8 for Provo, including the clearly blown "slip" call. He was in that bad of shape. Provo forced the fight and I honestly believe if Bradley attempted to fight like he did Marquez that Provo would have walked through him and got the stoppage. Bradley was getting hurt regardless of being on the backfoot and he was forced into the exchanges to survive. He wasn't bringing a lot of firepower behind the jabs on Marquez and Provo would not sit in the pocket waiting for counters and matching jabs. Styles, styles. I like Tim, but I think Provo gets him if they rematch. As mentioned a Matthysse, Rios fight would be explosive! Be interesting to see if he stays 140 or goes for mass fight at 147
Prov is a beast, but he can be outpointed. What a year he's had.
Possible fights that can actually be made in no particular order: Rios, Bradley rematch, Beltran if he moved up?, Alvarado rematch?
Don't get this at all, are you scoring it as a boxing match or just going by the last round or something.. Sick to your stomach?Obviously Provo did more damage and won his rounds huge, but I had Bradley pretty well sweeping all of the middle rounds except 5 or 6, whichever he was hurt again in. A draw would've been fair, I'm pretty sure I had it 114-112 Bradley without actually scoring what I'm pretty sure was a knockdown in the first. Definitely a stretch to have Alvarado winning more than 4 rounds of the fight imo, regardless of how clearly he won those.
