I was wondering what height you think is best, Bottom of bag at waist level.. or top of bag about head height..?

I find the latter is good for working on body shots and the former is good for working on straight punches although i'm not sure if I can get it that high due to the height of the stand.

I have also heard people say that the logo is usually where the sweet spot is.
The bottom of the bag about waist level. If the bag is too low, it won't swing with your punches.
