Ortiz should not have got the fight anyway. If you was part of GBP, who would you fill in that empty spot on the PPV card? Even if you had to pay some side money?

I heard it was Sakio Bika versus Anthony Dirrell?
Guess you can't argue with that. I don't think Carlos Molina can possibly be in a good fight, hope he loses the title sooner than later.
his fights vs Lara and Cintron were entertaining. Not a lot of mauling, it was clean boxing.
Bika vs Dirrell was already on the card. But that fight is not going to raise PPV buys anyway. I would either get Angulo to fight Molina.(BTW, Molina fights is not boring). My second option would be to sit Khan and Alexander down and tell them what's at stake. Winner can get Broner(should he win) or Floyd on PPV.
Question: Can GBP go on with the fight but make it non-title? They obvious got something lined up for Ortiz and a big money fight with either Cotto or Canelo.
Shane will step in and save the card![]()
Happy this one fell out. Hell is froze over I guess as the Ibf said he wasn't worthy but when a sactioning body starts spouting principle I can't help but wait for the other shoe to drop and think something is in the works. Gbp is seeing Molina striclty as a belt warmer and a chip to cash in for a bigger star but he is one of the hardest working and easy to root for guys going today.
I was actually looking forward to seeing Ortiz fight again. I think his attempted head but of Floyd was one of the worst things I have ever seen, Ya gotta love that. I think he would have knocked Floyd out if he made contact, absolutely terrible, I love that.
They are still promoting "the return of Victor Ortiz" on dec. 14 undercard....zero mention of Molina. Shocker.
What are the chances they could do a "non title" fightIf I was Molina I'd tell them to stick it
Victor ortiz will face alfonso gomez. Its official
Molina vs Thurman![]()
