There is a place like that here. When I first moved here, in 2001, my uncle and I were driving down the street (and this bar is on the corner of Park and Main, right in the heart of Uptown), and we saw 2 guys come out the side door. They stepped into the alley and started going at it. In Butte, you can walk around and drink in public and that is ok. There is a movement afoot to change that because of all the people staying around that bar after hours.
My understanding is that, after, the bar closes, it is like Friday Night at the Fights, every night, until 3 or 4 AM. This didn't used to matter but a developer turned a bunch of the old buildings into condos and the residents didn't know that "Uptown Living" included nightly brawls.
