Not only the bookies who are blinded by Mago's 100% ko ratio...couldn't look at anything else when putting the picks down for the prediction contest. Perez could do with stepping up to the mark big time.

Perez has the skills to pay the bills
But Magomed may strike his head
and send him packing over the hills
without a bundle of soda bread
Over the hills and far away
Mike seems to have just lost his way
A fine pedigree that could go far
If not for the Whiskey in the Jar
Them Irish Girls there eyes are sweet
but they won't keep you on your feet
I still believe that fight's not over
And Perez won't need the four leaf clover
We will all find out tomorrow night
If Perez has come to really fight
if not then Magomed will get the shout
and Mike can drown his grief with stout
For me this was the most enjoyable fight in the HW'S since Tua v Ibeabuchi , both would beat fury and Haye , really good fight from two brave fighters.
Perez has huge natural talent and a rock chin.
perez has been marking time since he came to ireland,he should have had 1 or 2 world title fights by now ,has his handlers no ambitions for mikes talents or is he going to be an old man before he steps into the ring for a title fight
Very impressed with what these two showed and gave the fans, no quit, no bs and solid hard knocks. Mago had to have a fracture from the 1st round, Perez put it all together and has some nice hands. I look at a padded protected guy like Wilder literally handed a title oppurtunity by beating up tomato cans and hyped up power and then you watch two undefeated guys take REAL uncertain challenges and adversity and see how glass a trinket really is.
Not too sure about beating Haye, he's certainatly capable of beating Fury but would need to box clever or rusk bring spoiled.
Bit lacking in footwork, no real lateral movement to speak of in this fight and you need to have that to neutralise a tall fighter like Fury and be able to match or cope with it from a guy like Haye.
I can see Perez holding a belt but there's a few things he needs to improve upon, seems to get by on strength and raw talent but at the top level it's not gonna do alone
Boxing the most magnificent fights unfortunately, can end in tragedy it's a sad fact, we are
reminded this sport is dangerous, my heart goes out to Abdusalamov and his family.
Remember this sport is carried out by people, that are professional and all in all nobody dreams
they will get hurt, thank goodness it is very rare theses days.
This fight was extremely hard on both fighters, both took heavy punishment perhaps sometimes
the corner men let, there fighters take a beating I can think of many fights I've seen this happen
past and present.!!!![]()
@AdamGB you know the way you throw a combination without thinking about it or show a client how to execute a deadlift without having to consciously go through each segment of the lift in your head ?
That's because you use your body every day.
It was an ok fight for Perez. I had no idea on who would win the fight, having not seen Magomed, but it was a good scrap with some reasonably skilled fighters.
Magomed looked a little soft. Kept on checking his face for damage, and in fact he was damaged, but overreacted to the nature of it. But, it wasn't me taking the punishment.
Wouldn't mind seeing either of them again with better opposition. The fights are out there. Hopefully the guys are innocuous enough to bait some of the other contenders out there, ASIDE FROM Seth Mitchell, into a fight for something meaningful.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

No I am saying your Brain is shrinking and you need to lighten up you dull, joyless, individual.
I see my mind and body as one and yes, take great joy in physical expression, not your poetry... but thanks for trying.
Now go and play with your head mind.
