If ward is any better after his shoulder injury it will be even worse for froch.
I really like froch but andre is in a different league. If froch beats groves and ggg at a possible catchweight then a ward rematch would be amazing.

This could be a really good fight, don't know how Groves will handle it more than anything but it can't hurt to talk yourself up. Froch does seem a bit rattled in that video, and he's a bit of a cunt isn't he. I can see Groves giving Froch problems but on past performances against the likes of Anderson and Smith how does Groves stop Froch?

The only way I can see is to do what he did against DeGale. Fight like hes in against Mike Tyson and back peddle and skirt tye ring, much like Haye did against Valuev.

He was troubled by it, the only reason he didnt get in any more trouble is because its Smith! A fighter who should be a middleweight and who struggles with british level fighters.

Had that been Froch it would have been similar to the Bute ending!

groves win over johnson was much more impressive than froches, i accept that johnson had a lot more ambition against froch

This could turn out to being a very interesting fight. Groves has the ability to use his legs and move away from Froch's vaunted power, but so did Bute, and we saw how that went. Remember that Groves allegedly gave Andre Dirrell the business in sparring and beat DeGale. I doubt Groves will be intimidated. I also doubt Froch will be intimidated, which is why it's somewhat intriguing.

Strength, resliance, ambition, stamina and experience.

Also, the nagging doubt in the back of his mind pr rather the knowledge that Froch can catch him and is very capable of hurting him. Add those atteibutes above to someone who is capable of hurting you and no matter what Groves says and how fucking stupid he makes Froch look in interviews, make no mistake that George knows hes in deep here.

Even against Ward, he wouldnt have that fear of getting hurt. Faced with power he might just curl up in to his shell, run, freeze anything. Just look at what happened to Cleverly who showed no real fear leading up to Kovalev. I was very surprised at how easy Cleverly made it for Kovalev and that is down to fear of facing someone who is genuinely capable of taking your head off.

Groves is a young guy, he could have easily waited around for a winnable title shot to come up. Instead he asked for and got the Froch fight. Considering he's sparred him and admits to being decked, if he goes in and bottles it that would be very surprising. Why seek the fight in the first place? It's not like he's getting a fortune for it.
