I'm all for matter. I love a bit of matter. I believe in matter as matter is something we can quantify or at least predict if it isn't quite there. I'm a big fan of matter and I am all for people being told that matter exists.

I think the flesh and my mind are what they are. The flesh will age, the thoughts will ebb and flow and one day it will end, and I don't believe in anything more. I don't mind that in the slightest though. It's a good thing in some ways as assuming that it is finite means that you have to make do with what you have and do what you can with it. Nobody has a right to make false claims on immortality, it is selfish to even assume it.

I also take issue with the notion of sin. Sin assumes that God has been granted the right to decide what is right and wrong and I find that repugnant. If there is next to zero evidence of the existence of God, then clearly God can not be defining what a sin is. A sin is then merely the judgement of a bunch of men posing as the spokepeople of God. Following obvious logic, that is then nothing to do with sin.

I think we are raised in society and from teachings and experience largely develop our sense of morality. At 3 children are punching each other in the face and pulling hair. Most of us grow out of this through education, parenting and eventual legal protection. Homosexuality is a sin in The Bible, it was illegal until the 1960's in the UK. Now for 2000 years homosexuality was supposedly a sin, for significant stretches of time also illegal, but today few would argue that it is a sin, immoral, or criminal.

People have a general sense of right and wrong and though sexuality is innate, how you treat those people is dictated through societal norms. I suppose if there is a God, then he will have to admit that he was horribly primitive and that mankind today has gone far beyond any wisdom he ever ever had (only in some ways though). God like notions of sin and the accompanying death by stoning only occur in the most savage countries today.

I suppose what I am saying is that God has nothing to do with right and wrong. It is a human judgement and nothing to do with anything else.

Homosexuality is not just sin, it is abomination to the LORD.

However, we all sin many times per day, so in the eyes of the God there are no differences between a person who sins once and a person who sins million times. If you transgressed just one law just one time - you are guilty of all charges forever. God is righteous without compromises.

    Poppcock.

Offer proof of your Lord and I might listen more, but all you have is a book of intolerance and violence. The Bible is a book of fear, used to keep brainwashed pinched sour people under the thumb and keep them distrustful of anyone who says it is nonsense.

See, that is a silly argument as history has shown the Jews to be one of the most persecuted and tortured of people. If God existed then he deserted the people of Israel again and again and it wasn't until an act of mass genocide in the 20th century that HUMANITY decided to create the modern state of Israel. Humanity attempted to wipe out a group of people and humanity then decided to create a state.

God didn't do that, it was people. Just as it was people who constructed The Bible. Nobody can provide any evidence to validate the attention given to the concept of God as defined by religious scripture. Each and every time the Church has been shown to be either making things up or else just plain wrong.

Speaking of physics "from nothing, nothing derives" I dont know what that something is and am not arrogant enough to make any absolute conclusions on something I cant even comprehend. To do so in one way or the other makes me shallow and misguided.

Dark matter like a living ocean of everything is probably the best we can do from our little material platform within it all.

Why would the whole of what is everything, choose to descend down through the dimensions to compress itself into physical matter in search of its self, like we have?
Most of whats out there and in here is dark matter but we cant see that or measure it either but we know it is mostly everything.

The Ancient mediators, practitioners, craftsmen, men of God knew that.

Darkness within darkness the gateway to all mystery.

'As above so below'. Written by Thoth; who had knowledge the stars and planets worked the same as electrons and molecules.

Thousands of years later once man decided to think things out and lose his intuition to that mindset, he then was in the process of re learning, instead of knowing knowledge from the heart which also has a now time memory and a dna memory. Mankind eventually and not so long ago was at the stage of believing the world flat and the center of the Universe due to the change. We had to go along way backwards before we advanced again up our chosen route.

    Sun / Son.

We are all made of the electrons that formed matter that were once a Sun.

I'm agnostic. I acknowledge that our universe is very complex and we probably aren't equipt with the brain power to comprehend these complicated issues. While I think all our religions are infantile and silly, there's no way I would discount the existence of a creator. I just don't have the confidence in our knowledge to do that. Nobody should.

I find Christianity to be offensively stupid and VAIN. Some magic man in the sky, who created all of us in his own image, is sitting up there helping people who pray to get the job they applied for or for some millionaire to win a baseball game. Shut the fuck up.

If people want to believe in fairy tales to make them feel at peace with the fact that you and everyone you love is going to die one day, go ahead. But there's no way to intellectualize it. It's absolute idiocy. It's "I'm gonna believe this because it sounds good and it's what I want to happen".

Truth be told, I'd love to believe in god and believe that we're all going to go to paradise and live with all our friends and relatives. I'd also love to believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. I'd love to believe that tomorrow I'm going to meet Jessica Alba and she's going to fly me out to her mansion in Hollywood and fuck my brains out every night.

The scenario of me fuckign Jessica Alba is more of a possibility than any of these rediculous religions being correct.

I don't either. One personality created the universe and gives a shit what we do and say on this little crumb of a planet in a massive universe? It just seems too convenient. And too suspiciously like the idea thought up by someone with daddy issues. Which is not to say I wouldn't believe in a god (or gods) if you showed me sufficient evidence. But nobody's ever put forth convincing proof. It's usually New Agey babble when they try.
