Who takes it? Personally I'd go with Sergio. Too fast before the injuries.

I agree. Sergio beats him.
05 Allan Green would beat the dogshit outa GGG too
It's gettin desperate when you have to pull out a fighter from 8 years ago. Golovkin beats Green or a Prime Martinez. The problem is he will never get to fight a prime Sergio. He is dealing with everyone put in front of him but unless a nemesis pops up he won't ever be given the credit by some.
I like GGG...he has very good skills, tremendous power, and cuts the ring off as well as anyone. But i think a fighter who has great speed and movement would give him problems. Sergio in his prime had both...to go along with deceptive power. I think it would have been a great fight a few years ago. But Sergio no longer has the durability or legs to fight off GGG for 12 rounds.
I'm thinking 160 circa the time he KTFO Paul the Punisher. By that time he had 3 MW bouts under his belt so I think he could take the heat.
Vs Pavlik he was so fast, explosive, and he moved so goddamn well. Even three years later, as good as he still is, he's a far cry from what he was 3 years ago.
I would have said Sergio prior to seeing 3G more and more but I think the Russian knocks him out. 3G's footwork and other subtleties are severely overlooked because of his power but he cuts the ring off as good as Hagler. He is not going plod in like Jr hoping to land the miracle on ice. He's going to create an opportunity to land and not just once. Its not going to be a punch that lands near the end of the 12th round. Oh Sergio could frustrate the Russian and win on points but I don't think so.
I think it would pan out that at some point in his now or expected potential... GGG would beat all who came before him.
I think GGG would be even competitive against the weaker side of opposition were he to move up in weight all the way to cruiser! Or against journeymen HW's.
Remarkable young champion, make no mistake!
I think it's a real shame we'll never get to see these guys fight at their prime. We really only missed it by a few years!
GGG has way to much for Sergio, then now or when ever!!!!!!! I don't really rate Sergio he ruled
a poor middle weight division, more of a light middle never a great middle weight champ.
GGG cuts off the ring effectively, destroys the body, n stopsMartinez late. Sergio struggled with a Pavilik who was having drug issues n was beating him before the cut. Pavilik was good, GGG is much better technically. Sergio is fast n unorthodox but he is off balance and out of position at times n GGG is too seasoned n experienced to not capitalize on it. Sergio hasn't beaten that many impressive fighters in my opinion. The knockout of Williams was spectacular, but Williams was above his best weight n flawed in ways that GGG isn't.
I have Sergio winning on points, I accidentally put by stoppage, but GGG can still improve.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
*We haven't seen GGG at his best. no one in the game cuts the ring off like he does..the guy is a thinker with ALOT of power. He's beaten many styles in the amatuers, to include the very elusive Andre Dirrel...if he can catch a young mover like Dirrel, he can catch an old Martinez. GGG by KO in 10.
