This fight could easily take place inside ANY telephone booth around the world. Imagine all the body punishment they would throw at eachother.......

LG, In your opinion how do you think this fight would go and if you have a conclusion feel free to tell that to.Originally Posted by Lords Gym

I think that fight would yield more body blows combined then any other fight of all time.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
I think Hatton would have more problems in regards to facial swelling and cuts, I see that playing big role in that fight, maybe even being stopped late? but its hard to really say. Chavez in his prime was something mystical , and Hatton is such a warrior with so much heart. I think it comes down to cuts, and swelling. Chavez win 9th R TKO/ ref stops the fight .Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
Wow!! I Didin't see it that way....Good point.Originally Posted by Lords Gym
But Hattons heart and warrior like fighting style would be a mojor role in this fight.
Eh. I've got a problem with predicting a fight to go on cuts. Just something I've never done but could very well happen.Originally Posted by Lords Gym
Hatton is short and stocky, at 140 that helps against a guy who relys so heavily on body shots. Chavez was probably a better boxer and had more ring smarts but I don't know, and this sounds absolutely insane, if he would be able to brawl with Hatton. I mean Hatton does a lot of wrestling, and it takes a lot to even stay on your feet when he does that. Definiely affects the opponent and I don't think anyone ever tried to throw Chavez around like Hatton would. Just a small aside.
It would be a toss up imo. BRUTAL fight.
absolutely, would be a real thrill ! CCOriginally Posted by CutMeMicK
Oscar Delahoya and Floyd Mayweather
Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather
Winky Wright and Bernard Hopkins
Battle of the Klitchko's
Round Robin with
Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Iran Barkley
Tyson vs Don King
Roy Jones Jr. vs Sugar Ray Robinson at 160-168.
It would decide just who was the greatest fighter lb for lb who ever lived.
I'd take Roy Jones by UD myself. Both had tremendous speed and power, but I think Roy was faster and more elusive.

are you insane?! jones has no chin probably never did. the first guy whoput pressure on him and really wanted to beat him did.(tarver I) then the second fight he knocked him out. i say your as good as your resume says you is and jones never got to prove himself (not his fault) but he couldnt stand up to the smoothest most buitiful boxer/puncher ever to lace up the gloves. i wonder have you ever watched a robinson fight? robinson bye tko in the middle rounds, and that if roy ran like a dog. if he didnt then he would go early.
my pic would be tyson vs holyfield 91'
