Ward needs to continually prove himself to you guys. And I think he should, he will and will continue to excel.

Put anyone between 154 to 175 in with Ward and he will clean them up and out.

Who I would like to see Ward in with:
GGG, Chavez Jr., Froch 2, Kessler 2, Martinez, Quillin and Barker. Ward wins them all. Any combination of fights you throw at him.

He looks boring, like Floyd, because he wins handily and with relative ease.
    No!

You are trying to make a comparison on the basis that Ward wins.

Mayweather just fought the biggest threat available to him around his weight, even moved up a weight to face him, not drag him down like dopey old Dawson. Alvarez was and is a massive star but Mayweather beat him by completely boxing his ears off! He didnt hold or butt or have any points deducted, what Floyd did was sublime and masterful.

Ward just fought who? And he was deducted points because even Wards refs have a breaking point.

What Ward did was take advantage of what refs will let him get away with.

    Hes like Mayweather! fuck off!

There are a lot of options for Ward without going up to 175, a pretty moneyless division. But there are options there for him as well as at a catch-weight and at middle.

HBO has NOT packaged him properly, quite frankly. He is a stellar, top notch, quality fighter. He is as good as they come...

What should he do to "please" you people? Get knocked out? It's a shame he is fighting in the era of Floyd Mayweather, and his flamboyancy.

Ward needs to be packaged properly. Better than what he has been packaged as. Shit, Tim Bradley has better packaging than Ward and we all know Ward is 3 times better than Bradley on a moderate night.

Ward needs better packaging and fight hype.

Ward Rigondeaux and Mayweather just gets the shit end of the stick no matter what. People are gonna treat the Golovkin vs Ward as if Golovkin would just blast through him. What a way to treat people in the Olympics!!! Ward is a great if you think he's boring watch UFC they fight like wild dogs. People want Gatti Ward type fights but there is something called Boxing Masters and that's what Ward practices to be. Sure you can say he's boring at times but he's focused and the Champ and you cannot take that away.

Here's the thing. Boxing is about styles. One style isn't for everyone. Some people liked Hagler; others liked Sugar Ray; still, others liked Duran. It doesn't make one better than the other. The great thing about boxing is that aspect hasn't changed over the last one hundred years. I can't speak for you though, but I'm a fan of all styles.

For the record, NO ONE I've read about has picked GGG over Ward. Frankly, GGG has a lot of unfinished business at middleweight. Let him do his thing there before talking about moving up in weight.

I like watching Mayweather and his fights arent paticularly exciting. His last opponent was in the weight above and a unified champ. Mayweather moved up and fought him in his own weight and didnt either hold or butt and looked untouchable.

Ward is winning handily because he is let to get away using tactics that a decent fighter like Floyd doesnt need to use. If you suddenly took away any holding from Ward he would look like he did in the last couple of rounds against Bika.

I agree. It would be insulting to put ward in the same breath as Floyd , Ward is very good , Floyd is just the best fighter out there period.

That ref was brilliant otherwise that fight would have turned ugly. Wish he was at the Wlad fight.

Commentators were having a go at him for taking too long and taking the limelight, but what he did had to be done. He also said he was punched so had to take a moment to get his head right. I like him, but can't remember if he has done other big fight.
