A lot of what Groves was doing tonight was made easier by froch being so ragged...A number of times, Groves threw the right, came up short, but came right back with it and scored. You shouldn't get that opportunity in a professional fight. Also, they were both looking, especially early, to counter one another's right with a right. That is a dangerous game to play and groves was winning it because froch was leaving himself wide open, squaring up, chin in the air, when he threw his right hand.
I haven't seen much of Ward, but I have seen enough to wager with confidence that neither of those things would happen were he and Groves to fight.
