Oh man I love Johnny, he may be single handly halting GBP Mares career. Sometimes its great to see the old Lion taking out younger ones. I was jumping out of my seat when Johnny got him the first time! I hope he does it again

Great to see Mares straight back in there trying to avenge his lose. I want to see how Mares looks & see if the KO has affected him or improved him as a fighter

If the undercard is good I'll go check it out. The first fight was awesome while it lasted.

If you're a prospect maybe, but Mares has been established as a top guy, beaten some world class fighters and knows what he can do. It wasn't a brutal KO and he made a pretty amateur mistake by dropping his hand if I remember. Just as much chance he'd lose to another top guy if his head isn't right, whereas reversing the loss will save a tonne of speculation and put him right back at the top. Having said that I don't know whether he will, Gonzales is a terrific offensive fighter and might just be able to get to Mares early again.

It is very rare that a fighter comes back from a devastating KO loss and wins the rematch, Mares should last longer, but i suspect that by round 4 or 5 Gonzalez will catch him again.

I think this speaks highly of both these gentlemen. Another loss against Gonzalez for Mares and it may no bode well for Mares. I always thought he was ballsy.

mares will KO gonzales this time. i think that he will start off slow and work him. the thing with gonzales is that he either knocks you out or gets knocked out.

In rematches what normally happens is that the more skilled boxer wins. I fancy lightning to strike twice though.

I hope Mares wins and Terry Noriss avenged his knockout loss against Simon Brown so could be a points win for him.
